Community Involvement

Sarah Miller is very passionate about her community and does whatever she can to help make an impact. Sarah got involved in the Women's Foundation of Colorado in 2010. The mission of WFCO aligns perfectly with Sarah's: to make women and girls financially self sufficient. Because of the value this organization provides to the community, Sarah started being a Co-Chair on their Empowerment Council in 2013, which is a fundraising and grant making arm of WFCO.

Sarah is also involved in Northwestern Mutual's Diversity & Inclusion Committee. This committee is responsible for fostering a diverse and inclusive environment in our company so as to better serve the diverse communities in which Northwestern Mutual seeks to do business. Sarah is gaining a wide perspective on critical issues, policies, and continuing her leadership development by helping the company create initiatives for consistency with diversity and inclusion principles.

Sarah is the founder of The Empowerment Forum. Sarah formed this group in her agency in 2010 to help motivate, encourage, and retain women in the financial services industry. Sarah believes there is an amazing opportunity for women in this industry and wants to provide an ample environment for them to succeed.
